Old Dunstonian RFC
Aylesford Bulls RFC

A Barnaby Brown hat trick and a stellar performance with the boot from Chester Clough got Aylesford Bulls back to winning ways on Saturday.
They travelled to struggling Old Dunstonians for a game put in doubt by sub zero temperatures expecting a physical encounter.
A disappointing loss to Vigo in the last round had fuelled an intense week of training on rock hard pitches which bore fruit early on as the ball was shipped wide to winger Brown who scampered over in the corner with Clough adding the extras.
ODs pulled five points back but second row Luke Garnham crashed over for a second converted score.
Brown then made it a brace and Clough added the extras followed by a penalty. ODs snatched back a converted try to bring the score to within five points going into half time.
Brown completed his hat trick ten minutes into the second period before Bulls got caught napping at the line out, ODs hooker popping it to the front and then on hand to gather an offload and crash over in the corner.
Clough then crossed and converted his own score before adding a penalty to bring his tally for the afternoon to 23 and stretch Bulls’ lead to 15 points.
The visitors would have the final say courtesy of Ben Ashdown’s length-of-the-field intercept. Final score 26-48.
Bulls welcome Sevenoaks on Saturday as they look to avenge a painful away loss.
