Aylesford Bulls RFC

15 - 25

(HT 0-0)

Gillingham Anchorians RFC

Aylesford Bulls slumped to a disappointment home defeat to long-time rivals Gillingham Anchorians on Saturday.
In their first outing since last month’s bruising encounter with top of the table Old Elthamians, Bulls started promisingly, going 5-0 up through number eight Charlie Pullen.
Gillingham pulled back a try and a penalty to lead by three points before centre Brayden Smith crossed to nudge Bulls back in front at half time.
But Anchs pulled away in the second 40, adding two tries and a penalty to their tally before Bulls’ second row Jack Ireland added a consolation try. Final score: 15-25.
Bulls, now eighth in Counties Two, travel to Vigo on Saturday.
Bulls Ladies continued a spectacular start to the season with a 77-0 win against Ashford in the league. It means in three games they have scored 164 points and conceded none.
