The hosts were first off the mark, crossing in the opening minutes to make it 7-0. Bulls were slow to hit back but when they did it came in familiar fashion, big tight head Jordan O'Leary barrelling over for his fourth score in as many games. Fin Ashdown-Denney hit the conversion to bring the scores level. Moments later Ashdown-Denney put Bulls in front with a penalty and that is how it would stay until the break. It is early in the season but a pattern is emerging, cagey and often physical first halves seem to loosen Bulls up. And within minutes of the whistle Tom Hughes did what he does best, showing a clean pair of heels for Bulls second, which was once again converted by Ashdown-Denney. Phil Wilkins made it three ten minutes later and Ashdown-Denney added the extras to bring the score to 7-24.The bonus point came courtesy of skipper Ben Pass, with Ashdown-Denney continuing a perfect afternoon with the boot. Tunbridge Wells clawed a score back but by that point the result was beyond doubt. Final score 14-31.Bulls, still third in Counties 2 behind Maidstone and Cranbrook, welcome Beckenham on Saturday.
