Aylesford Bulls RFC made a powerful statement at this year’s Vigo Tens Festival, entering two competitive squads, Men’s and Ladies’, and delivering standout performances across the board.
The Men’s squad battled through a tough pool stage with grit and determination, showcasing fast-paced, physical rugby and excellent teamwork. Their efforts earned them a place in the final, where they narrowly missed out on the top spot in a thrilling contest that kept spectators on the edge of their seats.
Meanwhile, the Ladies’ squad dominated their side of the tournament, going unbeaten throughout the day. With a combination of tactical precision and explosive attacking play, they brought home the championship trophy, securing first place and making the club proud.
Club representatives praised both teams for their sportsmanship, unity, and the way they represented Aylesford Bulls on and off the pitch.
“It was a fantastic day for the club,” said Tony Merlini Club Chairman “Both squads gave it everything, and to see the Ladies lift the trophy and the Men reach the final is a testament to the hard work they’ve all put in.”
