The Aylesford Bulls U24 squad closed out 2025 in emphatic style with a standout showing at StoneX Stadium, securing the Plate Final in their first-ever festival appearance and delivering a series of performances that underlined the team’s growing strength and potential.

Under the guidance of returning coach Tickles, back on the touchline and in fine form, Bulls opened their campaign with a hard‑fought 5–0 victory over Biggleswade, showcasing early defensive resilience. A narrow 7–5 loss to Saracens Amateurs followed, but the squad responded superbly, producing a dominant 32–0 win against Cheshunt to storm into the Plate competition.
In the 3rd/4th place playoff, the Bulls maintained their momentum, defeating Verulamians 12–5 to secure a well‑earned third‑place finish overall. Throughout the evening, the team’s grit, passion and emerging talent were clear for all to see, with the festive presence of Piper the Bulls’ Elf adding a touch of Christmas spirit to the occasion.

Parents and supporters were equally impressed. Paul Temperton, father of one of the players, summed up the mood simply: “Boys did well” and “Good Monday night out.”
The festival win marks a strong end to the year for the U24s and sets an optimistic tone as the squad looks ahead to an even brighter 2026.
