We would like to announce a passing on of the role of Academy DoR. Chris Hartley will be stepping down to allow him to focus on his role as Club Managing Director, a position he has held for the last two years.
We would like to introduce Dave Smith, as the new Academy DoR, he will be taking up the role alongside being the Head Coach. Dave has been an integral part of the Academy for the last 4 years as a coach, with the last 2 years being Head Coach. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience to bring to the role gathered from coaching at other clubs and from his current role as a coach at Maidstone Grammar School, so the future of the Academy remains in good hands! 🙌
Chris will remain part of the Academy coaching team and will be working alongside Dave over this season to support him as needed, to ensure a smooth transition.
We would like to thank Chris for all his hard work, dedication, sponsorship and for playing his part in setting up the Bulls Academy back in July 2021 and its continued development over last 4 years which has seen the academy go from strength to strength, resulting in an increase of home grown talent being part of the senior teams representing the club, as well as offering players additional careers training and career apprenticeship placements 🙏
