This past weekend, the grounds of Aylesford Bulls RFC were filled not with the usual thud of rugby boots, but with wagging tails, cheerful barks, and delighted spectators as the club hosted a heartwarming community dog show in partnership with Maidstone Activity Dogs.
In a delightful blend of sport and community spirit, the event transformed the club's facilities into a hub for dog lovers, drawing in families, pet enthusiasts, and supporters from all over Kent. The dog show featured a wide range of fun classes including Best Puppy, Waggiest Tail, Best Rescue, and even a “Dog Most Like Its Owner” category – all judged with enthusiasm and a touch of humour.
Maidstone Activity Dogs, a local organisation known for promoting canine fitness and fun, led the event with demonstrations, agility courses, and plenty of opportunities for pets to shine. Dogs of all breeds and sizes strutted their stuff on the field, while the crowd cheered them on with raucous applause.
Aylesford Bulls RFC staff were out in force, ensuring the day went smoothly. F
With the success of this year’s show, we look forward to welcoming Kate and the team back soon
