We can not thank our members for their continued support over the past 17 months.
Like many rugby clubs and organisation Bulls saw a period of uncertain and concern. Planned development projects like the LED flood Lights had to be placed on hold.
However, we are pleased to report the club is safe, and secure and the new flood lights are winging there way to us, with an isolation date of August ready for the coming season. To add to this, we have 2 sponsors who are providing us with a new scoreboard.
These projects allow us to reuse the bulbs from pitch one and overhaul, the bulbs on pitch 2, giving us back lite evening space, allowing us to request 3pm kick offs in the mid-winter months, which boost our player availability. The new LED lights will also reduce our running costs and are more environmentally friendly and introduce a score board to pitch 2.
Our squads all saw a disrupted season in 20-21 and we were grateful to our mini and youth coaches, who offered extended training to our mini and Youth players until 18th July. Minis and Youth are now on summer break until Sunday 5th September 2021, membership can be purchased from now and are available directly from the website. Our senior players are also on summer break, concentrating on strength and conditioning before returning to structured training in August under the watchful eye of Andy Dawling and Stuart Anderson for the male sides. While the fantastic Jenny Vik and Georgia Gray coach our ladies.
