For those who knew him Brian was a fearless second row who joined the Linton club in the late seventies having moved from his native Scotland to take up the General managers position at the papermaker Smurfit in Snodland. Having located himself in Loose, the Linton club was the ideal choice to continue his rugby career.
His shouts of ‘Pundy’ ( apparently meaning push in Gaelic) reverberated through the first XV scrum until his retirement from Rugby in the early 90’s. His son Kevin carried on the Bisset name also playing for Linton and subsequently the Bulls.
Our thoughts are with Brians Wife Margaret, and his family, at this sad time.
His funeral will be held on Tuesday the 12th of September at 2pm at Vinters crematorium and former players of the club who knew him will be welcome to attend. All are welcome to join the family for refreshments at the Orida Hotel after the service '
