Breast Cancer Now funds world class research, provides specialist support services, and campaigns for earlier diagnosis and better access to treatment.
According to their 2024/25 annual report:
• The charity invested £34.6 million into research, support services, and campaigning, including £16 million committed to research alone.
• They support 325 leading breast cancer researchers across the UK, driving breakthroughs in treatment, recurrence, and hard to treat cancers.
• Their specialist nurse helpline answered 12,240 calls and nearly 4,000 support messages, ensuring people affected by breast cancer receive expert guidance when they need it most.
• Tailored support programmes reached over 6,300 people with primary or secondary breast cancer.
• Their awareness campaigns — including Touch Look Check — reached millions, improving early detection and empowering people to recognise symptoms sooner.
Funds raised at our Afternoon Tea will directly support these vital services, helping Breast Cancer Now continue its mission that by 2050, everyone diagnosed with breast cancer will live — and be supported to live well.
